Lady Bobbie Montgomery
Board Member
About Bobbie
She is caring and compassionate and has a desire to help others wherever she can. She is a retiree of the City of Fort Worth and is currently Secretary at East Saint Paul Baptist Church, performing a wide variety of administrative tasks and serving wherever she is needed.
Bobbie is the mother of two adult children and the grandmother to four (4) exceptional grandchildren, who are the wind beneath her wings and is the force that drives her to be the best she can in all that she does. She tries to live by example, not only for them but for those whom she associates with. She enjoys travelling and out of the 50 states, she has travelled to 20 of them, including Cancun and Grand Rapids, Bahamas. Before COVID-19 shocked the world and brought us to shelter-in-place, Bobbie had the ultimate opportunity to travel to Jerusalem…which was a life changing experience for her.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. endured hardship, hatred and near-death experiences and from these experiences, Bobbie choose to get involved with the Greater Fort Worth MLK Holiday Committee, and so that not only her grandchildren, but ALL CHILDREN REGARDLESS OF RACE can one day have a chance to live out their dreams and know that they can be and do whatever they set their minds to.
